The only native crabapple in our region ! A deciduous tree with white pinkish flowers blooming in spring followed by edible fruits. Suited to moist soil conditions but survives in most gardens. Slow growing and thicket forming. Important to wildlife as a nesting and food source. Mason bees are particularly fond. Full sun to partial shade.
