Chehalis Workshop

Please join us for an upcoming workshop to discuss challenges and opportunities for managing natural resources in the Chehalis Basin!

​​This workshop introduces Mason Conservation District and the resources we provide, including free, non-regulatory, confidential technical assistance. We explore Chehalis Basin history, geography, and natural resources issues, discuss common resource concerns such as streambank erosion, manure management, and forest management, and discuss best practices to help address them. We also discuss how we can connect you with technical and financial resources to help you achieve your land management goals.
Presented by Mason Conservation District, featuring Jacob Murray (Programs Coordinator), Margaret Kreder (Forester), and Nick Schneider (Farm Planner).

Mason Conservation District is a non-regulatory, special purpose district. Our mission is to promote the sustainable use, conservation, and restoration of natural resources for future generations.

  • Free technical assistance
    • We have expertise to help identify and assess resource concerns, recommend best practices, and provide tools to help you make decisions.
    • We also have a library of information and network of other partners/experts to assist you.
 
  • Financial assistance
    • We can help connect you to grant funding and cost-share opportunities.
    • We can write plans to help reduce operating costs, or reduce potential tax burden, all while protecting natural resources.
