Poultry Processing Equipment

Click Here to Translate this Page

The Mason Conservation District has two Poultry Processing Units that include scalder units, pluckers, and kill cone stands for holding up to 8 kill cones at a time. We also have a Poultry Processing Trailer that can handle larger flocks. The units are available for rent to minimize schedule conflicts and help poultry producers be more efficient.

As per our normal policy, priority will be given to Mason County farmers and farmers who will be processing for commercial sale, but only if there is a conflict on a specific date. Otherwise, it is first come, first served.

To rent the poultry processing equipment, please contact Nick at (360) 427-9436 ext. 111 or at nschneider@masoncd.org to schedule which day(s) you intend to use the equipment.

Cost:
$35 per day or $70 per weekend Featherman Units
$50 per day or $100 per weekend for larger Poultry Man Poultry Processing Trailer
