WA 211 is the only statewide helpline with knowledgeable people on the phone and
17,000 local resources in their statewide resource directory, 211 Connects. The Mason Conservation District's Mason-Shelton Food Chain program is about helping out where we can, and you don’t have to be a farmer to make a difference. The District is working with local food banks who can accept donated fresh fruits and vegetables, and “linking” them with local farmers and Grow-A-Row participants. Beyond food banks, the District is sharing a Resource Guide created by the HOPE Garden Project that provides a guide to daily meal programs, shelters, and more. The District is part of our community’s history, and we are honored to share information that betters us all. If have a resource that you don’t see in this guide, please let us know!
