McCleod Tools

A McLeod tool, also known as a rake/hoe, features a dual-sided blade—one side has coarse tines like a rake, while the other has a flat, sharpened hoe—attached to a long wooden handle. This tool is commonly used in wildfire suppression and trail restoration efforts.

​Mason CD has two McCleod tools available for rent for residents of Mason County. There is no cost associated with renting these tools.  To reserve the McCleod, please contact Nick at (360) 427-9436 ext. 111
