Critical Area Buffer Restoration

If you live along a creek, lake, bay or wetland you can participate in the Critical Area Buffer Restoration Grant Program!

  • Receive free technical assistance on plant selection for your property.
  • Receive free site-specific planting restoration plans.
  • Apply for cost-share funds which can pay up to 75% of the native plant restoration costs, up to the available cap per project. This includes the purchase of native plants, site preparation, and installation.

Make your native planting project a breeze by participating in the Mason Conservation District’s Native Plant Sale in the spring of each year. For more information call: (360) 427-9436 x 13
